Deb's Card Challenge No. 2
Well here is my second attempt with my Copics. I am loving how you can blend them together. Experimenting with some colours here. Love the yellow, and wanted to add some orange, but only have YR24 Pale sepia, but it worked (kinda) lol.
This is for Lou's Challenge at Deb's Creations, and the challenge is "Fruit". (And apparently Holly berries ARE NOT fruit! - sheesh Lou!) rofl.

15th December Challenge
Well the weeks are ticking over so fast, it will be Christmas before we know it! This weeks Challenge at Let's Scrap, is another card sketch by the talented Kimmy! This sketch will help you get your Christmas cards over and done with!
This weeks sponsor is Scrapbook Parade
Big thankyou to them, so jump on over to Let's Scrap, and check out the wonderful cards on show.
For this card i have used some yummy Bobunny paper, and matched it to some eggplant coloured cardstock. I stamped the Penny Black Snowy stamp, and used a waterbrush, and eggplant marker to colour him in. I then added some glitter, (which i am still finding everywhere). I painted the chipboard snowflakes then embossed them with some white glitter embossing powder. I added a doily cut with my new Marianne design Creatables die. (isnt it just gorgeous!!) To finish it off i printed off a free digital stamp from BizzyBecs's

ScrapAwhile Needs Your Help
Please come back and be part of our community online
http://scrapawhile.bigforumpro.com
We could really do with your help otherwise we may need to shut the forum down.
Activity on the forum has just about come to a stand still and we need to get more people active on here or unfortunately it will need to close. The Design Team has tried their very best to offer exciting challenges, swaps and interesting chat but unless people participate it really is pointless.
I would like to say a BIG thank you to those who have tried to keep things going and have entered in the swaps and challenges, I really appreciate your efforts.
So this is our last ditch effort - I hope that we can see everyone back on here soon.
Hope to see you there
Alita

New Challenge at Let's Scrap
Another week brings around another Fantastic sketch from Cheri, over at Let's Scrap. I really like this one. I can see lots of potential layouts here.
This week's sponsor is Paper wishes.
Here is my layout for this weeks sketch, I have used a photo of Hannah, when she was only 6 months old.
I saw this photo and the paper just seemed to go perfectly with it. The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle, the "Sharon Ann" delightful collection. I have used a Chippie from Dusty Attic for the title, which i painted then applied glitter. The pocket is from Maya Road, and i cut out a backing sheet from Prima flowers, to put on the front of it. (it went so nicely with the layout!!)
I have used some flowers from my stash and some pink cherry blossoms from Deb's Creations.
I even pulled out the sewing machine to sew the circle, i was amazed i even had pink thread in the cupboard.
I have entered this in a challenge over at Deb's Creations . Sam has set a recipe challenge. So pop over and check it out.

Christmas Card
Well here is a Christmas card i have just finished. I have entered it in a Challenge over at Deb's Creations and it is on Bron's Blog!,
It has been ages since i stamped and masked an image! OMG, i took ages, then i stamped the wrong image first! Poor Tilda is still on a bit of a lean! Oh well i have used my new Magnolia Stamps, and Dies, arent they so yummy!!
Let's Scrap Challenge 24-11-10
I have done a very simple layout this time. I bought this paper (because it had purple on it!) and at the time there was only the one sheet, and all the co-ordinating paper had been sold, and it was really hard to find something to go with it. So i just decided to keep it simple.
This weeks sponsor is the fantastic Krissy, over at Swirlydoos! So if you would like to win one of her yummy kits, jump over to Lets Scrap and join in on this weeks Challenge. See you there!

A big thank you to "Studio Calico" for being this weeks sponsor.
HERE IS A LITTLE ABOUT THEM:
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.
We hope you will continue to grow with us at Studio Calico. Who knows what's next!
Committed to inspiring creativity, Studio Calico features the work of noteworthy designers, provides online support and encouragement, and offers products that are both fun and innovative. We are dedicated to design and an old-fashioned commitment to customer care.
Each month, Studio Calico combines the latest scrapbooking products with unique finds from a variety of sources while staying true to the basics. You'll find kits filled with products from a variety of manufacturers, coordinated for ease-of-use by both the advanced and novice scrapbooker.

Just Sharing
Just thought i would share these. These are some cards i have made for ScrapAwhile. I have used the Docrafts Confetti range Flourish with a bling pearls, green tara flowers, some ribbon & dies from my stash. I used a Penny Black wedding stamp i had, and just coloured it in.
This is a Docrafts frame i have decorated for ScrapAwhile. I sponged some paints on the frame. Then I have used Docrafts Butterfly Medley stamps, and created a paper tole effect, using Scrapdots to achieve several different levels of the flowers. I actually coloured these using LuminArte' H20's. Added a bit of bling and organza ribbon, and ta daaa. Finished!

I went and picked a layout created by the very clever Chloe
This is Bec's year nine photo. I used my latest Swirlydoos kit "Irresistable". The Creative Imaginations paper in it seemed perfect for this photo. I added a "Maya Road" library card to it. I got to use my Tim Holtz mask as well! and of course it wouldn't be complete without some Prima bling and flowers.
