It is Challenge time again over at The Paper Shelter.

Before i get into this weeks Challenge, once again, a Big Thankyou

There were some awesome entries, and it is soooo hard to pick, (glad its not up to me!!)

Righto, the winner of last weeks Challenge is......

That would be you Nancy D!

Congratulations Nancy!!

Now onto this weeks challenge, and it is, the every popular...

"Anything Goes"

How cool is that, let your creative talents run wild!! lol

As always we have a fabby prize up for grabs for you. If you are picked by mister random and have used a PaperShelter image you have won a gift certificate worth $20 to spend in the Paper Shelter store. If another brand of image is used you have the chance of winning three digis of your choice. That's great too isn't it?

Once again a big thankyou to Veronica and Pedro!

Dont forget to head over to the Challenge blog, and check out the
great creations the other girls on the DT have created just for you.

I cant wait to visit you!

Okies, onto my creation for you. Seeing as it is Christmas(yes a surprise to me too! lol)
I thought i would take the opportunity to make another Christmas Card
(You know, it is the season, ho ho ho!! )
Anyway, i decided to use the new "Winter Princess Stamp"
When i saw this stamp, I just thought it so beautiful, and
could hardly wait to make a card with it.
I made an easel card, I have used the coloured image for the front
and used the plain paper inside, and
used my spellbinders to cut a scalloped oval.
I have added some stickles, bling, and flowers, and a few leaves.

"Let's Talk Digital"

Ok, just a quick note on digital stamps. There are a few out there,
still a bit iffy, when it comes to "digital" stamps.
Now, I am no expert, and still relatively new to the whole digi
experience, but wow, how great are digis!!! You get them straight
away, they are sooooo easy to store, and you can be so much
more creative (well, the clever people can lol).
Now don't get me wrong, i will always be a "Real" stamper! I love to
stamp, and I love to colour with my Big Girl Pens!
But digis are definately a great idea.
Now there are several things to note with Digis. With The Paper
Shelter
Digis, you actually get a fantastic deal when you
purchase their stamps. You get the image outlined in 2 forms jpeg and png (these
are the ones you can colour yourself),
you then get the coloured version in the same formats.
BUT, with some stamps (as with "Winter Princess") you also get
the image mounted on the background paper, and the background paper by
itself. There are lots of different things you can get with the
different stamps (definately worth checking out).
There are also the digital paper sets you can buy. As you know, my favourite sets
are from Bearly Mine Designs and The Paper Shelter .
Now the Paper sets will vary, but for the price you can get up to at
least 30 different papers in sets (of course they all vary).
Digi papers are great, you can just print them out to the size you
require, or if you are really clever you can layer them, and print them
out already to go. Then just add your embellishments.
Well that is some information for you to take in
If there is anything you need to know, just ask.

Thanks for taking a looksee at my card for this week.

Have a great day everyone
Hugs
Tracey

Congrats Lalkygirl

Righto, now onto this Week's Challenge and it is...

"Snowflakes"

So show us your snowflakes!

What you can win? As always there is a voucher worth $20 waiting for the winner of the challenge if you have used a Paper Shelter image. If you have entered with any other brand of stamps/digis you have the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Stunning prize as always. Thanks to Veronica and Pedro for that!

So on to my card for this Challenge. I have actually done my first
digital card (is that how you describe it?? LOL) I actually used some Digital
Papers, then i placed the coloured Digital Image "Santa Cute Helper"
over the top, and printed out the whole card!! OMG, now that
might not sound like a big deal to you, but sheesh, it is to me!! lol
This is the first time I have combined the images, I have printed them out coloured,
printed out papers, but never this.!(Those who know me, will be amazed!!)
So ok, I printed out the completed page, but i wanted to give it dimension,
so I actually sewed around the edges of both papers. Then I added some
chippie snowflakes, which I have inked with white, then I embossed
them with a white glitter embossing powder. Then added some flowers,
leaves and a bit of bling from my stash, along with a Magnolia Die cut
Swirl. The sentiment is a freebie from Bizzy Becs. Oh and of
course, added some star dust stickles. They
really give the snowflakes added dimension on the paper.
Overall I think I did a pretty good job!! (even if i do say so myself!) rofl

Well, thanks for dropping by, I hope I gave you a little bit of
inspiration for this new Challenge. I cant wait to see what you
all come up with.
Have a Great Day
Hugs
Tracey

*******************

Now onto my card. I have taken Ashee and cut him out, and mounted him
on a Christmas Bauble. Isn't he so sweet and cute! I still have to look
at getting some more green copics, so until i do, I have coloured Ashee's
clothes with Pencil. Skin tones and wings are copics.
I wanted to try to achieve that baby pink skin tones, so I used
R00 & R20. His wings are using B000, B00 & B02.
For the Bauble, I added just a touch of the Blues, and then I
added Star Dust Stickles. (errr well i added stickles everywhere!! lol)
The Paper is from the "Christmas Glee" set, available from
Bearly Mine Designs. Oh my gosh there are some yummy
papers in that set. The sentiment is from Whimsy, and the
doily is Cheery Lyn Designs "French Pastry".
The pearly/blingy swirl is part of a Prima one, the flowers and leaves
are from my stash.

Well I hope I was able to inspire you for this lovely Challenge

The Maggie Lovers Challenge #2

Well hey there everyone! Well it is the first Monday of the month,
so that means, it is time for another great Challenge over at
The Maggie Lovers

Before I start to ramble on, for those who might not have heard,
Bron, (THE BRON) our wonderful leader, has had the heartbreaking
family tragedy, and we just want to send her all our love.
She will be back on board soon, but until then Bron (B2) is kinda
running and looking after us hooligans - I mean Teamies!
(oops did I say that out loud! lol)

Right!
A big thankyou to everyone who joined in our very first challenge
"Christmas Red/Pink & Brown"

The winners win be announced in a few days.
There were so many wonderful entries we are having a hard time deciding!

Now onto this Months Challenge
and it is.......

"Christmas - Anything but a Card"

So show us your Christmas DooDads! Napkin holders, candles, decorations,
whatever! The list is endless!
We will update you with the list of prizes, at a later date.
So get creating!
I can't wait to see your wonderful creations!

Now, onto my creations!!

I have decorated a coffee bag, and made it into a gift bag, and
I filled it with shortbread! (mmmmm what an excuse to buy some shortbread!!) lol
What i have done is decorated both sides. This side i have used some of
the new Christmas Papers and "Ed on Christmas Eve".

Here is a close up of Edwin. I have coloured him with copics, using a new set of colours
that i am playing with. I used E40, E41, E43, E45, for his clothes. The apples
i actually used water colour pencils. I was trying for the red/green look...hmmm
I am still working on that look!! lol

Now this is the other side of the bag, and you can see i have stamped the "Christmas Love"
stamp and coloured it in. I then stamped and cut out the small
Magnolia tag and attached it to the flowers. I wanted to keep this side simple
because of the clear opening. I wanted the emphasis to be on seeing the
biscuits. yummmmm!!!

In this photo you can see where I have attached the ribbon to. The coffee bags
come with the part that will fold over and around the bag.
Well I hope this gives you some Christmas Inspiration.

I have also created a gift bottle. I saw these cute little bottles in a cheap shop.
So I added some ribbon, then coloured and cut out "Sparkle Tilda"
There are some little things in the bottle, but i thought
it a wonderful idea just to make something simple have a little bit extra!

"Sparkle Tilda" is coloured with copics. I used on her clothes
B000, B00, B02, B05. Her skin tones are E000, E00, E11, R20

Well I hope you have enjoyed looking at my creations for this
Challenge.

Have fun
Hugs

That would be you Doreen at Doreen's Dream. Congrats Doreen!!

A big thankyou to everyone who entered last week, wow, there were nearly
300 entries!! wowzers!!!

Right now onto this weeks Challenge (I think you might have an idea!! lol)
and the challenge is.....

"Christmas Fun"

It is starting to get to be "The Season" isn't it!! eeghads!!
So this is the perfect challenge to start you on your path of making
your Christmas Cards!

Once again, Veronica and Pedro have offered a wonderful prize for the winner...

If you want to win three digis of your choice from the store, enter the challenges with any image at all. If you want the chance to win a gift voucher worth $20, use a Paper Shelter image on your project. You know it doesn't have to be a card. A LO, an OTP (off the page) project etc is fine by us. We love to see all the things you create as long as it follows our theme.

So get creative!! lol

Right, onto my card! I have used "Christmas Owl"and papers from the "Christmas Spirit" paper pack. Aren't they wonderful. I have printed the coloured image of the owl twice, and 3D mounted him. The papers are a gorgeous combination, and make a fantastic chrissy card. I actually had started to print single papers from the pack, when i realised, that the pages were already made how i wanted them!!!! (Thanks Veronica & Pedro! lol) So on the inside, i have printed out the spots, and 3D mounted them, and then i have 3D mounted the White oval for writing in. Not sure if it shows up real well! I have also used stickles on the stripes to give the paper more dimension! It looks sooooo wonderful in real life!!!

Well that's it! I hope you enjoy my card!
Thanks for dropping by! Can't wait to see what you all come up with
Have a Great Week
