Emerald Faerie Challenge #39

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

With that in mind our New Challenge is

"Celebration"

Does not have to be just New Year, Any Celebration is fine.

You make everything worth while!

For my Card i have used "The Larakins"

and cut them so they are separate. They are so versatile!

I have gone with the Blue and Brown theme (one of my favourites) 

The papers are Pion Design papers, which i have been 

wanting to use for a while, and when i coloured in 

The Larakins, this paper went perfectly with them.

I distressed the edges and inked them with

Vintage Photo Distress ink (thankyou Donna xxx)

I also decided to sew the papers, and i am very pleased

with the look.

Well I thank you all for dropping by

Cant wait to see what you all come up with.

This challenge will run a bit longer than normal, 

just to let everyone get over holidays etc.

Ok, now for my card i have used my new Magnolia Stamp

"Christmas Tilda with Puppy". This was a belated 

birthday present from a wonderful friend! (Thanks Donna xxx)

Anyway the stamp came with my New Magnolia Ink

so i kinda cased the fabulous Lillemor's card in it.

I coloured Tilda using Copics.

The papers are from the "Christmas Dreams" Set and

The text paper is from a Christmas package that Bearly mine had.

Bearly Mine Designs Challenge #61 Pink Christmas

 Well I have another Card to post today.

Bearly Mine Designs New Challenge Starts today.

Wowzers!! how cool is that!!

 

Now for my card I have used papers from the New

"Pastel Christmas" Set.

When i started this card i was looking for more than one paper, 

but I started putting it together, and decided to do just the Pink and

White and stick with the one paper.

The photo below gives a better look at the true colour.

 

I wanted to colour Tilda with just a touch of pink, but

i think i need to experiment with that idea a bit more, oh well

she doesnt look too bad!! 

I started adding some bling, and errrr i think i kinda 

got a bit carried away... lol...

well you can never have too Much Bling!!!

 

For the flowers, they are just plain pink paper flowers,

which i have spritzed with Glimmer mist and

scrunched up. Then stuck a pearly button on 

the center. The large leaves, and tag are Magnolia Dies.

 the smaller leaves is a Marianne creatable die.

Hmmmm

well there you go.

Righto, now on to this Weeks' Challenge and it is a

"Sketch Challenge"

This wonderful sketch was done by our very own Anita!!

Isn't she awesome!!

Sketches are so wonderful and helpful dont you think??

Ok now for my card, I have used Ally and Beeble, and

coloured them with copics.

I stuck to the pinks for this card...hhmmm turned out not too bad!! lol

The papers are from Bearly Mine Design and The Paper Shelter;

I had these papers printed out, and they looked so wonderful

together, i tried to colour Ally & Beeble to go with them.

Pink and green are so lovely together.

Righto, now the ribbon down the left side, was a bit too sheer, so

I decided to just lay a piece of plain card under it to make it

stand out.
