So onto my card. I have used Mixie from

That Craft Place

I have coloured her with copics. Paper is from Magnolia (seemed

to go perfectly with her). I used Stampendous Embossing Enamels

"Shabby Pink" and "Shabby Blue" around the edges. This is my new

favourite product. Dies used are

Spellbinders frames, Magnolia Swirl, Cherry Lynn doiley

Lace is from Ashcraft & Gifts

Hello Everyone.

Yes it is time again, for another wonderful challenge

I used the sewing machine and stitched around all the edges,(and

because i did that, i thought i had better mend hubbys shirt...lol)

For my Card i have used Lili of the Valley "Coffee Break", and coloured

it with Copics. Again I thought i might have been in trouble, because

once again, I coloured my image first, THEN  went looking for papers.

But I found the most gorgeous paper on  Designer Extreme CD II, (it is now

in my favourites folder) then i teamed it up with a paper from

the "Gingham Set". 

I am actually really pleased with the colours in this card,

and i added some small blue flowers to tie in with the blue i used in

the image. I actually used the Martha stewart Lace 

Border punch, and cut it to make the doily like look around

the scallop oval. My doily dies were either too small or too big.

Okies, well thanks for having a looksee,

How Cool is that!!!

Now i have created i suppose an obvious choice for you, an Easter Basket.

I have used Precious bunny, and coloured him with Copics. And for the 

Basket itself, i have used some papers from the Sweetheart Collection 

(yes again!!! lol) I told you i love them colours. I did have them

already printed out, so it was an obvious choice. LOL.

So i decided to team it with white, and use my Martha Stewart Doily lace

border punch, and it seemed to give it a lovely country feel.

I have used the Magnolia fence and heart swirl, and leaf dies, 

and just interwoven them with a bunch of pink and white flowers.

I think they turned out pretty cool, even if i do say so myself.! lol

 

 This is precious Bunny, coloured using Copics C1, C2, C3 RV21,B000, B00, B02, Y02

BV000, BV00, BV02, BV04, YG03, YG05

And a closer view of the flowers. These are a mix from  I Am Roses, and Wild

Orchid Crafts.

Now my card for this challenge is using a paper from the new set "Christmas Swirls" available

from Bearly Mine Designs. I fell in love with this paper, as soon as i printed it out, isnt it just gorgeous!!!

The Image is "Boo" which i cut out from "Boo & Snookie"

from The Emerald Faerie Garden( i just love that stamp!), and he is coloured with copics, and he is
sitting on my Magnolia Presents. The sentiment is from Whimsy, and of course all the flowers are

from I Am Roses. The buttons, omg, i have had these forever, and been wanting

to use them, but nothing ever seemed to match Til Now!! lol

Oh and i used my Marianne Creatables Doily and leaf dies.

I am still working on the inside of the card, so hopefully will have it up later or tomorrow.

Righto, on to this weeks Challenge, which is

Embossing

For this weeks cards, LO's, altered items etc we want you to show us embossing. It can be dry, it can be wet, it can be both. It can be lots of it and it can be just a tiny bit.

Need some inspiration, head over to the Challenge blog and check out what the girls on the DT have created for you.

Now for my card, well, you see there was a bit of a mix up, and with my computer crashing etc, and trying to put everything back on. I went to load the card I had been working on for this challenge, and realised, der, I had made a card for the wrong challenge. So it was a mad rush to get this up and going, and my brain was in meltdown. LOL.

So what I decided to do was use an already coloured image from The Paper Shelter and

work with that. Wowzers, it is wonderful isnt it. (It does take the fun out of

colouring, but when you need a card quickly! WOW!!!)

Ok, so I have used the coloured image "Spring Swing" , and the paper is from the

"Let's Make a Picnic" Set. OMG these papers are so pretty, and went

perfectly with the image. I used two of my cuttlebug embossing folders, small dots, and errrrrr bird swirl (if i find the correct names i will add them! LOL)

And I have added some beautiful flowers from I Am Roses, gosh they were the

perfect colour. The Leaf is a Marianne Creatable Die, and the swirl is my Magnolia one.

The charm is from my stash.

Well can't wait to see what you all come up with this week!

Right now onto this week's challenge, and it is

Die Cuts and Punches!!!

As always we have a $15 voucher up for grabs for the winner if you have used a Paper Shelter image, and if you haven't used a Paper Shelter image you can still win one digi of your choice from the lovely Paper Shelter store.

Right on to my card. I have used one of the new images "The Sweet Gardener" and a paper from "Let's make a Pic-nic" Paper Set. Oh i am loving these papers, they are soooo lovely. I have coloured the image using copics, but the plant i actually used pencils ( i have to get some more green copics!!!) I have tried to do some light shading around the image (hmmmm still working on that!! lol) The pink and the blue look sooo lovely together, I did think about using the coloured image, but ended up colouring it myself. Now , i actually got to use my new Grand Calibur scallop squares for the shaped card. Gosh i love this shape! I used my Magnolia butterfly and swirl dies, as well as my scallop circles and circle nesties (for the sentiment). The leaves are punched using a Leone Em punch. The beautiful flowers, which match perfectly (of course!) are from I Am Roses. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Isabella Card

Well here she is Isabella! I finally finished! (trying to pick the right colour flowers!) Thought that this time I would pick the papers, then colour the image. RIGHT!, OK, so did that, then I totally changed the papers I used! Oh well!! Love the end result anyway. I have coloured Isablella with Copics, and teamed her up with some lovely papers from the BearlyMine "Simply Dots" and "Spring Flights" Collections. Then i have added some beautiful flowers from I Am Roses! (those rose buds are sooooo gorgeous!) The sentiment is from the Emerald Faerie Ticket Sentiments.
The dies are the Magnolia Swirl and butterfly, and Marianne Creatables leaf.(this is soooo my favourite leaf die!)
