Let's Scrap Challenge - 16.3.11

Here is my take on the sketch. I have used the Kaisercraft Candy Lane 6x6 pad. I love these colours together. I have used Happy Birthday Tilda, and the Magnolia Die. I have coloured Tilda with copics.

Let's Scrap Challenge 2nd March

Another great sketch this week. I love this one. I can see it being used in lots of ways. The design time over at Let's Scrap, have done an awesome job with it. Hop over and check it out.

This week i have used a photo of my wonderful late Great Aunty & Uncle, Tib & Zena! It is a beautiful photo, that i have had for awhile. I have used some yummy papers from Webster's pages. I used glimmer mist on my lace (Thank you Deb) to get it to go wonderfully with the page. And i recycled one of the backing sheets from some Prima flowers. The bling in the bottom right corner is one i have made, using bling, liquid pearls and acetate.

Think i will enter this is Bec's Monthly challenge (fingers crossed they think it meets the criteria), this month Bizzy' Bec Challenge is Chocolate, mint, rasberry & cream.

Let's Scrap Challenge 23-2-11

Another great Sketch up at Let's Scrap. The Design team has come up with some absolutely gorgeous layouts To go with this sketch. It is another great design to use up a heap of photos.

Once again my angel is the star of my page! She wanted an iceblock and of course Nannie could see no reason why not!!! (Its what we do!) So while she was eating, she was yacking away and pulling the most glorious faces, so i just had to capture some of them!! Love the wide eyes down the bottom on page 2!!
I have used some Best Creations paper i have had in my stash for a while. I used some wonderful buttons from Sam at the Purple Pumpkin! The were perfect for the paper!

Now ScrapAwhile has a fantastic week going with A sale and challenges going. The first is a numbers challenge, you need to create a layout using -

1 - lace/ribbon
2 - pp
3 - buttons
4 - photos

The second challenge is a colour challenge - Blue and purple and include bling and flowers ( i know, what a shock for me hey!!) This can be a card or a layout.

Let's Scrap Blog Hop Was Fantastic

Well thanks to everyone who participated in Let's Scrap Blog Hop. It was fantastic, we had heaps of new members, and so many wonderful creations flowed through the gallery. You girls were wonderful!!! I want to thank everyone who joined in and participated in the challenges, and a big thankyou to those who participated in my challenge.

New Challenge

Cheri has come up with another outstanding sketch this week, over at Let's Scrap. Although i just couldnt cut up my photo (this time at least)

Here is my attempt at it this week. Again it is of miss Hannah! That smile, it just melts nannies heart.
Julie over at Deb's Creations has set the layout challenge this month. Her challenge is to use black, pink and green. The Paper is DCWV, Alphabet Stack. The journal pad is from a Grace Taylor book, my best bud Judy got me (thanks Judy!) Its a Zva Creative pearl swirl, a Prima butterfly, and not sure of the flowers. I used my cricut to cut the title. I have coloured Sitting Tilda in the pink, and her angel wings green, then i applied the glitter over the green.

Let's Scrap Challenge 19-1-11

This weeks challenge is a card sketch (but you can use it for a layout if you want). It's a wonderful sketch, which i found very versitile. Hop over to Let's Scrap and check out everyones card. There are some wonderful cards already in the gallery.


I had these papers still on my desk from my Challenge for the LS Blog Hop, and because i really love them, i decided to use them for this sketch. The papers are from the BoBunny Mango Luau range. I used my cuttle bug to emboss the chocolate cardstock, but silly me put it through the wrong way! Oh well, still looks ok. I then stamped my bear and saying and used my spellbinders to mount them on the front of the card. I used my Fiskars border punch along the base of the card.

Here is my take on the sketch, I have use Creative Imaginations Paper, (isnt it just gorgeous!), some bits and pieces of stash. I have painted and added glitter to the heart. Remind me of the pain this was if i ever go to do it again!! LOL, i have glitter EVERYWHERE!!! Oh well it looks ok!

Let's Scrap Happy New Year Blog Hop

I'm so happy that you have decided to join us for the Let's Scrap Happy New Year Blog Hop! For those of you who are new to the site, Let's Scrap is a wonderful group of scrapbookers who encourage and motivate each other in our love for scrapping! The Let’s Scrap Hoppy New Year Blog Hop starts Friday, Jan.14, 2011 and runs until 11:59 pm central time on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011. That’s right it runs for a whole month. I am doing a numbers Challenge - 1,2,3,4

1 x lace/ribbon
2 x patterned papers
3 x flowers
4 x bling

I have chosen to do a card -

I have used Magnolia Vintage Tilda with roses, and coloured her with copics. I have used my Magnolia Doohickey dies for the swirl and leaves. I have used my spellbinders (fast becoming my favourite item!)

Remember, You must tag your layout correctly in order for it to be entered into the challenge, So my tag would be: Resolution#14 NO space between Resolution and #14

When the hop is finished , I will randomly select one person who completed Resolution#14 to receive an RAK.

Let's Scrap Challenge 12-1-11

Another brilliant sketch by Cheri, to get the old mojo juices flowing. I have used the second page for another layout on Miss Hannah's 3rd Birthday. I have used some beautiful Prima paper, and flowers, some yummy lace from Wild Orchid Crafts. I decided to use my Sitting Angel Tilda and colour her so she was in the same colours as Hannah? (well i tried!)
