Emerald Faerie Challenge - September

Seeing as how the 1st of September is the beginning of Spring

here in Australia our new Challenge is

"Springtime" 

Let us see flowers and bees and lovely colours.

I have used Isabella and coloured her with Copics.

with the colours. Orange isnt a colour i use often,

but am very happy with the end result.

Bearly Mine - Inspirational post

Hi there everyone

Here is a card i have made for my son's Girlfriend.

I have used a retired set "Spring and Summer Stripes"

which Donna has released again for a while.

This is a favourite set of mine, so i am glad

to see it given the chance again. 

 A little tip - to get your papers to look like those expensive textured papers,

just add some stickles along some of the straight lines.

I love to do this, it gives the paper that little bit of "kapow"

The image is "Fantasy Flower" Tilda. She is so pretty.

I have coloured her with Copics.

So onto my Card. I have used Summer Flower Tilda  and coloured her

with Copics. Papers used are from "Floral Breeze" , "Plain & Simple"

and I used one of the many freebies Donna has there on offer.

I used the sewing machine and stitched around all the edges,(and

because i did that, i thought i had better mend hubbys shirt...lol)

Flowers are a mixture of I Am Roses, Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia.

Lace, ribbon and bling are from my stash.

Dies used are Marianne Designs leaf, Memory Box Butterfly delights,

Cherry Lynn Doily, Spellbinders circles.

My turn to give your Mojo a little bit of Inspiration today for 

Bearly Mine Challenges

Today I have used papers from the "Floral Breeze" Collection

 

These papers are so lovely and soft, these are definitely one of my

favourite sets...

If you are new to digital papers, I use Word to position and size my papers,

then print them on Kodak Matte Photo Paper.

I have coloured my Magnolia Tilda with copics 

to match the papers.

Bearly Mine Designs February Challenge

Hello Again.

We have a New Challenge starting at Bearly Mine Challenges

with a few changes, so check out the Blog

With our New Challenge being

"Vintage Romance"

For my card I have coloured "Tilda with Winter Flowers" with

copics. The paper is from the Retired Designer Exteme CD

called "Paisley Love V".(think i need Donna to unretire this one...it is 

gorgeous...lol)

Anyway, i used my gokreate die, and turned it on its side, to give it

a different feel. I used the Magnolia tag, with the same paper.

I coloured some white seam binding with copics to match

the colours i used on Tilda. Made a bow and
added some to the tag.

I spritzed some paper flowers and mounted an old button

in the middle, and then added some film strip and

a hat pin and some beautiful lace

give it a wonderful Vintage feel.

Hmmmm, looks not too bad!! lol
Still looking for a nice sentiment(will update photo if i find the right one)

 I have used my New Dies from Go Kreate, to make this easel Card.

For a great tutorial, check out the wonderful Jenny D's Blog 

The image is "Pip" from the Emerald Faeries, which i have

coloured with copics.

Papers are from "Spring & Summer Stripes" and "Winter Swirls"

I used Star Dust Stickles and followed the stripes,

and it creates a wonderful dimension to the paper.

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, which i hand cut out,

then used a Stampin Up scalloped circle punch.

The tag die is Magnolia, all these are layed with

3D tape. The small butterflies are "Butterfly Delights" from Memory Box

the Large Butterfly is Joy Crafts

The Heart Swirl and Large swirl are from magnolia

small leaf is Marianne Creatables

The Doily is from Cheery Lynn

Fancy Oval die is from Spellbinders

 Flowers and Lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts
