"Anything Goes"
How cool is that, let your creative talents run wild!! lol
Once again a big thankyou to Veronica and Pedro!
Dont forget to head over to the Challenge blog, and check out the
great creations the other girls on the DT have created just for you.
I cant wait to visit you!
Okies, onto my creation for you. Seeing as it is Christmas(yes a surprise to me too! lol)
I thought i would take the opportunity to make another Christmas Card
(You know, it is the season, ho ho ho!! )
Anyway, i decided to use the new "Winter Princess Stamp"
When i saw this stamp, I just thought it so beautiful, and
could hardly wait to make a card with it.
I made an easel card, I have used the coloured image for the front
and used the plain paper inside, and
used my spellbinders to cut a scalloped oval.
I have added some stickles, bling, and flowers, and a few leaves.
"Let's Talk Digital"
Ok, just a quick note on digital stamps. There are a few out there,
still a bit iffy, when it comes to "digital" stamps.
Now, I am no expert, and still relatively new to the whole digi
experience, but wow, how great are digis!!! You get them straight
away, they are sooooo easy to store, and you can be so much
more creative (well, the clever people can lol).
Now don't get me wrong, i will always be a "Real" stamper! I love to
stamp, and I love to colour with my Big Girl Pens!
But digis are definately a great idea.
Now there are several things to note with Digis. With The Paper
Shelter Digis, you actually get a fantastic deal when you
purchase their stamps. You get the image outlined in 2 forms jpeg and png (these
are the ones you can colour yourself),
you then get the coloured version in the same formats.
BUT, with some stamps (as with "Winter Princess") you also get
the image mounted on the background paper, and the background paper by
itself. There are lots of different things you can get with the
different stamps (definately worth checking out).
There are also the digital paper sets you can buy. As you know, my favourite sets
are from Bearly Mine Designs and The Paper Shelter .
Now the Paper sets will vary, but for the price you can get up to at
least 30 different papers in sets (of course they all vary).
Digi papers are great, you can just print them out to the size you
require, or if you are really clever you can layer them, and print them
out already to go. Then just add your embellishments.
Well that is some information for you to take in
If there is anything you need to know, just ask.
Thanks for taking a looksee at my card for this week.
Have a great day everyone
Hugs
Tracey
