For my card I made a Criss Cross Folded Pocket Card, and I have used papers from the "Christmas Glee", "Plain & Simple" and "Spring & Summer Stripes" Sets all available from Bearly Mine Designs. When i started printing these out i could not believe how perfect they went together. Then again Donna is amazing!!lol (waving to you Donna! :D). The image is "Christmas Dance" from Lili of the Valley, which was in my birthday parcel, from my amazing friend Donna . I coloured her with copics and added a bit of flocking to try and give the fluffy christmas feel (hmmm the verdict is still out on the flocking! )
I added stickles to the stripes, and it has given it a wonderful feel and look!

Well thanks for having a looksee

Congratulations Card

Hello Everyone,
Thought I would share this one I have just finished. A friend asked me to make
a 25th Wedding Anniversary card, and this is the end result.
Started out doing silver as backing colour, but I wasn't happy with it,
so i had to sit there and take it all apart and went with the black, white & silver.
Not sure if it comes out really well, but all the background circles are silver.
I am very pleased with the end result, she wanted to keep it simple,
not too flash she said. Well this is simple as I could do.
I have used some paper from a DCWV pack i have had for ages, teamed it
up with some Prima flowers, a bit of bling and my Marianne Creatables Swirl and
leaf dies, and my Spellbinder Nesties.
Yep happy with this!! lol
Thanks for having a looksee
Hugs
Tracey

Congratulations no 70; Debbie

Righto, on to this weeks Challenge, which is

Embossing

For this weeks cards, LO's, altered items etc we want you to show us embossing. It can be dry, it can be wet, it can be both. It can be lots of it and it can be just a tiny bit.

Need some inspiration, head over to the Challenge blog and check out what the girls on the DT have created for you.

Now for my card, well, you see there was a bit of a mix up, and with my computer crashing etc, and trying to put everything back on. I went to load the card I had been working on for this challenge, and realised, der, I had made a card for the wrong challenge. So it was a mad rush to get this up and going, and my brain was in meltdown. LOL.
So what I decided to do was use an already coloured image from The Paper Shelter and
work with that. Wowzers, it is wonderful isnt it. (It does take the fun out of
colouring, but when you need a card quickly! WOW!!!)

Ok, so I have used the coloured image "Spring Swing" , and the paper is from the
"Let's Make a Picnic" Set. OMG these papers are so pretty, and went
perfectly with the image. I used two of my cuttlebug embossing folders, small dots, and errrrrr bird swirl (if i find the correct names i will add them! LOL)
And I have added some beautiful flowers from I Am Roses, gosh they were the
perfect colour. The Leaf is a Marianne Creatable Die, and the swirl is my Magnolia one.
The charm is from my stash.

Well can't wait to see what you all come up with this week!

Hugs
Tracey
